I am New!
What will the service be like?
Winfield Baptist Church is a caring body of people in all stages of life. We spend time thinking about the needs of each generation and do our best to meet those needs. We have a “blended” style service both musically and liturgically. We sing modern songs of praise as well as traditional hymns. The preaching and teaching is always practical and applicable to our daily lives.
Does it matter what I wear?
Because there are so many ages and backgrounds represented at WBC, dress is also very mixed. We have men who come in jeans and men who come in suits. We have women who come in slacks and women who come in dresses. Wear what is comfortable to you. We only care that you are here worshiping with us!
Where do I go when I get to the church?
There is a Welcome Center just inside the front doors. Someone should be there to greet you and help you find your way around. If no one is at the Welcome Center, stay close by and someone will be by to help you. The sanctuary is directly in front of you as you come in the main entrance.
What do I do with my children?
If you have children, we have a nursery down the hall from the sanctuary for the little ones. During the service we have junior church for ages two through the third grade. Again if you need help finding your way around, someone at the Welcome Center can help you find your child’s classrooms.
